5 artists you really should know about.

    Joanna Newsom.

She's been critically acclaimed from the beginning, but never broke into mainstream. A quiet, cute and delicate voice over simply brilliant, or brillianty simple melodies.

Out of the 3albums, you must check out The Milk Eyed Mender.

    She's also had a remix from Dub-Step master 16Bit.

    Magnetic Man.

Artwork, Benga and Skream make up the Dub-Step trio. They've had successful solo careers and have teamed up to form a bass and beaty supergroup. Their debut album 'Magnetic Man' is pretty heavy, it covers a range of genres, really well.

I'd personally reccommend Skream's Album, 'Skream!', particularly the track Rutten.

    Martin Grech

Martin Grech has remained under the radar nearly his entire career, I first heard him when Saab used his track Open heart Zoo in an advert, I searched for the track and discovered he was on tour and happened to be playing at the Soundhaus, remember that, aaaahh, The Soundhaus.

Open Heart Zoo is an awesome album, and Grech wrote and performed much of it.He is rumoured to be releasing an album this year, definately worth keeping an eye out for.

    Check this shizz out.

    Glassjaw

Heavy, light, melodic, meaty. Glassjaw are all these things and more.

I personally reccommend 'Worship and Tribute'. Frontman Daryl Palumbo's side project, Head Automatica are also, really, really good. Go find them.

    Venetian Snares

22 albums, 22 albums! Electronica, breakcore, gabba, basically a lesson in what is possible with technology of varying complication. Before you say "I don't like that glitchy stuff." Listen to this, boys got groove.

Check out Rossz csillag alatt született.
